Woolworth’s
Prince’s “ Rasberry Beret” centers around a chance encounter with a customer who would become his lover in a Woolworth’s store in 1985.
Woolworth’s was the original five and dime store, established in the USA in the 1800’s.
This shocking and extraordinary fluorescent type orange reminded us of 1980’s youth and pop culture surrounding that era at a time when such meetings were common amidst brightly colored yarns and overstocked shelves.
Like Woolworth’s, and Prince, the era is long gone, but you can imagine it, if you dress your lips in this.

These apply liquid and dry down slightly to a standard lipstick finish. They are long wearing and non drying to the lips. Fortified with jojoba oil and vitamin E, these double as conditioning lip treatments and feel cushion like and supple on the lips. These are great for those who love lipstick but hate standard lipstick packaging. These are not transfer resistant. They are similar to bullet lipsticks except they are conveniently packaged in a sleek, black gradient tube with a doe foot applicator. As with most lipsticks, these will leave kiss marks and will need to be reapplied after a few hours. Removal is easy using makeup remover wipes, soap and water or regular makeup solvents.
